What we collect, and what we don't.

The short version

We collect what you type into the reservation form so we can get back to you about a beef share. Google sets advertising cookies on this site so we can tell whether our ads are working. We do not sell your information to anyone, ever.

What the reservation form collects

When you fill in the form on our reserve page, we receive:

• Your name
• Your phone number and email address
• The share size you are interested in
• Your ZIP code, and whether you want it shipped or collected
• Anything you write in the notes box

We use it for one thing: to contact you about your reservation and arrange the beef. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not pass your details to other businesses.

Who handles it besides us

The form is delivered by Formspree, a form service that passes the submission to our inbox. They hold a copy for a limited period so nothing is lost if an email goes astray. Their handling of it is covered by their own privacy policy at formspree.io.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, their servers record standard request information such as IP address and browser type.

Cookies and advertising

We advertise on Google, and this site carries the Google tag. It sets cookies that let Google:

• Tell us whether someone who clicked an ad went on to reserve a share
• Show our ads again to people who visited the site
• Measure how the ads perform overall

This is measurement, not surveillance. We never see who you are as an individual in that data — it comes back to us as counts.

How to turn that off

You can switch off personalised Google advertising at myadcenter.google.com, and you can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. Neither affects the reservation form — it will still work.

Children

This is a website for buying beef. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Asking us to delete your details

Write to [email protected] and ask. We will delete what we hold, unless we need to keep it to finish an order you have already placed. Depending on where you live you may have a legal right to this; either way, just ask and we will do it.

Changes

If this changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
